GRAYSTONE INDUSTRIES
Graystone Industries is a Caprica-based technology company created by Daniel Graystone, who is its CEO. The company was created more than 60 years prior to the Fall of the Twelve Colonies and is responsible for the creation of the holoband technology, but was later known for the technology that changed the human race—the Cybernetic Life-Form Node, or Cylon.

THE HA'LA'THA
The Ha'la'tha is a Tauron-based criminal organization also operating on Caprica. The organization's name is Tauron for "always faithful to the soil." Its leader is known as the Guatrau. Members sport tattoos on their faces and across the length of their bodies, but one tattoo that all members must have is one that visually represents the oath a member swore upon entering the organization. Tattooing is a custom followed across Tauron society, but many on Caprica associate it exclusively with the Ha'la'tha.

THE SOLDIERS OF THE ONE
The Soldiers of the One (also referred to as "STO") is an extremist religious group advocating the worship of a single all-powerful god. They are currently in a period of turmoil and schism, fighting with the Monad Church over the role of the militant organization with the church.
